Isaac Julien: An Introduction

Welcome to my blog dedicated to the filmmaker Isaac Julien.
Julien has been producing and directing his own films since the
1980's, offering the art world a variety of films that have inherently
beautiful aesthetics and extremely loaded subject matter. To hear
more about Julien and his work, please listen to the podcasts (
The editors
of the New Oxford American Dictionary
declared "podcasting" the 2005
word of the year, defining the term as "a digital recording of a radio
broadcastor similar program, made available on the Internet for
downloading to a personalaudio player
. Like 'radio', it can mean both the
content and the method of broadcast.)
, which can be found at the bottom of
each blog entry.Instructions for listening to the podcast can be found below.

The best way to listen to the podcasts is by holding down the control button on your keyboard while clicking on the link. This will open a little window with options. By selecting "open in new window" or "open link in new tab" you can still view the rest of the blog while you are listening. Also, please note that the podcast will begin to play immediately upon opening it.. so.. be ready. I welcome any and all feedback.
